We clean all of our buildings with the Activeion system which eliminates greater then 99.9 percent of harmful bacteria such as the 2009 Pandemic H1N1 Influenza A virus and E. coli, Salmonella, MRSA, and Staph, Listeria. This alone decreases the sick days taken by employees by killing the infectious bacteria that causes them to become sick.
THE SCIENCE INSIDE THE IONATOR.
There are two key scientific concepts driving the technology in the Activeion™ products: electrolysis and electroporation. The science of electrolysis is over 100 years old, and the science of electroporation has been around for decades. Before Activeion, products incorporating these technologies cost thousands of dollars or were only available in specialized laboratory equipment. Activeion is the first to combine the science of electrolysis and electroporation into a small, handheld appliance available to everyone. The result is a device that cleans-up dirt and kills harmful germs with tap water and needs no chemical-related health warning label.
- CHARGE
When the trigger is pressed, the water flows through a water cell that applies a slight electrical charge to the tap water;
- TRANSFORM
The water passes through an ion exchange membrane, where the ionized water is separated into an oxygenated mixture of positively and negatively electrically charged nano-bubbles;
- CLEAN
When applied directly to a surface, the ionized water helps lift the dirt from the surface like a magnet, enabling it to be wiped away;
- KILL GERMS
Before the water exits the nozzle, a slight electric field is applied, allowing the water to carry a low-level electric field to the surface where the germs may be living. When used as directed, this low-level electric field kills more than 99.9% of harmful germs.
